I am currently preparing for:

Night of Writing Dangerously

presented by NanoWriMo

I have not yet decided what I am going to write for NanoWriMo in November yet, but I will be working on a story I have been looking forward to writing for quite some time now.

What is NanoWriMo you ask? 

It is the National Writing Month contest held every year, November 1-30.

Writers from all walks come together to write 50K words and it is a lot of fun.

I attended the July camp of NanoWriMo and had an amazing experience. 

After camp, I received an invite to Night of Writing Dangerously.

It is a one night event right in the middle of NanoWriMo and I am excited to have been invited.

Big Changes!

I will be updating my page. I am so excited to include some new features and give it a more authentic looking author/book site.

Other big changes in the coming months:

I will start writing two brand new series that take fantasy and myth to a new level. I can't give much away right now. Keep checking back for details on books I am writing.

My writing process has slowed down greatly with other life activities happening, but I am getting back in the writing zone.

UPDATE!

HEY FANS!

I haven't said anything in a while. I wanted to give an update on what has been going on. There has been a lot I have been working on lately. Plus I have recently re-entered a social scene so now I am working out a new schedule of time. Here is some of what I have been doing.

I was participating in Camp Nano, but had some personal family obligations happen which took precedent over my goal being completed.

Currently I am working on Whisper. Yes you heard that correctly. Some great feedback came from an editor who beta read my book. I am in the process of going over what needs to be changed/fixed/corrected, and when I am finished, my book will be sent off to an editor who offered to edit my book for free. Hopefully the offer still stands.

I am also creating some new book writing challenges for myself. If I am successful be on the look out for several new books I hope to publish over the next six months.

More Editing News

I am excited to announce that not only is Whisper going to be revised soon, it gets better.

I am strapped for money currently as with many artists in their various fields. While my English and grammar isn't as top notch as other writers, there are ways around it. I received an offer from someone who is willing to do a beta read of my book and I have also received an offer from someone who would like to go through and edit my book.

Editors make me nervous, but they are valuable and I am hoping for more good news to come. If things go well with an editor I contacted recently, I will be able to start sending other manuscripts over to her to be edited later this year.

Hopefully after I have published a revised copy of Whisper I will start to see honest reviews and ratings.

News about Whisper

I have good news for everyone!

I am in the process of choosing an editor for Whisper. With this news comes some writing changes for this year.

Later on in the year hopefully before June, I plan to publish a revised edition edited by a professional. Hopefully this will add a stronger depth to the story. For those of you who have purchased an ebook version, you will be notified of the updated version. With this new path, I am hoping to also publish three oher books this year including the sequel to Whisper. Hopefully the editor I choose will help with my other books as well. Everything will depend on the work they have for me to do.

When it is available I will let everyone know.

Here is a surprise: I have plans to write a short story or possibly a novella in connection to the Whisper Triology in the coming future.

Back to writing

After a long break of not blogging and working on my next book it is time to get the new year off to a great start. We'll see how it goes but my plan is to publish 6-7 books this year. Maybe more or less depending on how things go from month to month, but I am looking forward to sharing more stories with everyone.
